Celebrating International Women's DaySubmitted by Goodfunds Wealth Management-->Natural Investments, LLC on March 10th, 2016
Goodfunds is proud to participate in the Pledge for Parity as we celebrate women's history month this March. Here are some highlights!
Eric was invited to speak on sustainable, responsible, impact investing at the 3rd annual Creativity Symposium, supporting gender equity and addressing the women's leadership gap. Leaders were also encouraged to creatively express their causes. A surprise flash mob for climate change performance ensued, fueled by the dancing power of the local fossil fuel divestment organization 350Seattle.Bruno Mar's song "Uptown Funk" was re-written and adapted to "Big Oil Funk" by Aji and choreographer Lynnae Pompeo to bring awareness on climate change. You can learn more about participating or attending the flash mob for climate justice here.
Goodfunds was proud to celebrate International Women's Day hosting a Women, Wealth, and Impact event on March 8, 2016. Penelope Jackson, Regional VP of Calvert Investments, shared recent shareholder advocacy stories in following up with companies such as Amazon and Urban Outfitters in holding them accountable to their sustainability practices. We invited Lena Meyers, Transformational Coach and Founder of Gratitude6 to share on how to integrate your core values into everyday decisions.
